lotsofmonkeys took at Bernie and Jeff's wedding earlier this month...
sitting with Neal and Mizuki... Mizuki was one of bernie's first roommates, living in my old freshman room. It was a triple, so bernie was offered the empty space in my sophomore room and took it. :) Neal lived next door to me that year with Fil. Neal has a toothpick in his mouth--one of those frilly decorative toothpicks. I've obviously changed out of the wedding attire and into comfy, washable stuff.
all the AU people in attendance. Homer is front center, next to the demonic version of me. Bernie's son, Devin, is in Sonya's lap next to him. Of those people, Bernie, Fil, Neal, Mizuki, Tom, and I all lived on the same floor. At various points, Mel, Bernie, Homer, Fil, Neale, Mizuki, and Tom all lived in the same house.

Neal and Neale talk about something or other. Neal told me that his little brother is a first year at UVA. We're hoping to see Neal from time to time--we miss our AU friends. Neale has taken up triathalons and was down here awhile back for one--had we known, we'd have shown up to support him. If he comes back, he promises to let us know.

we were at a fair on this past friday, where i saw a girl in bright chartreuse and black stripeys, and i said to chris, "i wonder if ygg has that color?" which then started a whole conversation about how some people can pull off the *stripey* look, and some just can't.
(we saw a couple of cow puppies, too. :))
