pretty... so, in all seriousness... any chance you guys will have to head inland? I know you're a distance from the coast, but it sounds like it could get tres nasty...
we're about 120 miles from the coast. i seriously doubt we'll have to evacuate.
if there's a lot of rain, there'll be landslides in Nelson County just south of us, but that's nothing new.
isabel is slowing down. she could still dump raini on us if she keep it up, though. heck, we could even see some interesting wind.
i'm really not worried. if it starts looking ominous to the east (always odd to me, since i'm used to storms moving from the W or SW), i'll put the trash cans in the shed, along with the lawn furniture. and i'll probably take down the tomato supports, which are PVC and rebar.
we always have a supply of food in the house, so that's not an issue. growing up in Indiana, it would be weird if i *didn't* keep an emergency stash year-round. what i'm low on are *batteries* for the radio.
