Sep. 15th, 2003 05:49 pmi just made up a pitcher of koolaid sweetened with stevia.
i don't care for it. it prickles my tongue, it's too thin, it doesn't taste right (yes, it's sweet).
i've realized that, in using florida crystals, i've grown accustomed to the flavor of sugar. i like the way it tastes--not the sweetness so much as the flavor itself. and i like the way it makes koolaid a bit thicker, not quite syrupy, but not as light as water or alcohol.
i won't drink any more. it makes my tongue feel too weird.
it was worth a try, i suppose.
