it's good to have company sometimes. [livejournal.com profile] red_frog volunteered to help me bake cookies earlier. she came over this evening (bearing focaccia and granita, so of course we let her in) to share dinner, cookie-making, and movie time. we were all tired and a bit fog-headed (boy and magi are sleep-deprived, i'm loopy on drugs and majorly fibrofoggy lately), so it was a nice comfy evening. we're all silly MST3K-style movie watchers, too. actually, boy's quieter, but he appreciates the commentary. ;)

[livejournal.com profile] red_frog, had i known about the brief heart scene, i'd have warned you. i'm sorry about that.

i liked the film, but i always like bond... it's good, cheesy fun with cool clothing and nifty action scenes. i don't think madonna's song is a bond theme, though. it wasn't appropriate for the title sequence.
notes:
the opening arc actually *related* to the plot. how often has this happened?
the references to previous movies were hilariously obvious. i especially liked the dr. no reference (halle berry's character's introduction).

i'm sleepy, but i'm achy again. the migraine didn't get a chance to develop fully earlier, which was fortunate. right now, the arm, leg, and menstrual cramps are driving me nuts.

i wonder if the bags under my eyes will ever go away.

i should go have another cookie.
