What's blooming in my pots right now? Lobelia, Bachelor's Buttons, Butterfly Weed, Cypress Vine, Morning Glory, Wood Sorrel, and Nasturtium... OH, the things I could say... And Spiderwort is blooming, too... and the sprigs of thyme, mint, and dandelion would further confuse things...

i had a lobelia last summer, but she was very, very cranky and did not like living.

i used to pick boquets of bachelor's buttons when i was a little girl, and then carry them home in my bicycle basket to try to make my mother happy.

this year, i have hearty flowers that seem to like me, and this is a good thing. :)

That's a really extensive and informative listing of flower meanings! I always wanted to give a meaningful nosegay to someone... perhaps we'll have to do that at the saturday farmer's market or somewhere similar!
