blah. nothing to do today.

no dawning, no plans, nothing going on.

i think i'll check the weather. if it's not *too* hot, maybe we'll go find a new (to us) waterfall.

oh, hrm. severe thunderstorms possible/likely. it's 86 here, with a heat index of 90. high of 93 today...

blah. unless we opt for someplace with a swimming hole, i don't think hiking is wise. that's a possibility, I suppose.

of course, it will be cooler in the woods... hrm...

I have a guide to waterfalls in the park, I could look up fairly short ones and see if you knew about them. Or you might already have the same guide. It was only like 5 bucks at the visitors center.

i have lots of trail guides, but i didn't buy the waterfall book. i can probablyfind something. :) thanks, though.

HA! I suggested to boi that we go to the Riverwalk here and let Banshee (one of our two dogs that was with us while taking our plastics to the recycling center) go swim in the river a bit where it's low, but it was too hot for us, so then boi suggested possibly going on a trail that's not too far from our house, but then we'd actually have to HIKE it instead of just walking it and it's hot even though there would be trees and greenery, granted there is another river along this trail but we won't be the ones getting in it, the dog would be...so we just decided to come home and sit on our butts in the a/c. A wise choice if you ask me! ;)
