okay, just one..
decided to test my benadryl allergy. i haven't had benadryl since i was 6 or 7. back then, it blessed me with horrid stomach cramps and projectile vomiting. needless to say, i wasn't given it again.
so far, i have an itchy, tight throat. nothing like consuming soy or peanuts... but i'm starting to itch elsewhere... tingly itching... like hives.
i have my epi-pen, just in case...
boy strongly discouraged me from doing this, but i *need* to know. after all, if i have an anaphylactic reaction to soy, papaya, latex, or peanut, the ER will give me benadryl (aka diphenhydramine). judging my my minimal reaction so far (less than five minutes), i probably need to find a non-steel, non-gold medicalert bracelet. *sigh*
i know i'm supposed to have one (for the soy and latex allergies alone), but it's so hard to find them in metals which don't make me react.
guess i'll write my doctor a letter tomorrow.
my lips are all tingly and numb now.
