Jan. 2nd, 2002 02:27 pmmy hair is looking dry. i need to re-henna. i don't want to wait for my old herbalist to order it in and then ship it to me from indiana...
i think i'm gonna go buy some henna at whole foods... since i normally stick with neutral henna, this should be interesting. now i just have to figure out *which* of those darn colors is closest to my own hair color.
don't be surprised if i end up with a head of weird reddish goodness. ;) (instead of my current reddish goodness, that is.)
i also have to clean out my car. must attempt to clean up the wine-sickness that a friend left (he did clean most of it up) NYE. ugh.

Date: 2002-01-02 11:22 am (UTC)henna huzzah!
Date: 2002-01-02 05:37 pm (UTC)after hennaing, my hair is smoother and shinier. henna coats the hair shaft. you don't want to use it over recently dyed/permed hair, nor do you want to dye/perm over the henna.
lush sells henna bricks. i'm not sure how to use those.
i want to dye my hair tonight, but i have three doctor appts in the next two days. i don't want to be henna stinky (think rancid tea, loose straw, not bad, just mustyish)...
