well, the new stove is sitting in the kitchen. we just need the electrician/handyman to show up and (a) hook up the gas; and (b) install a modern electrical receptacle for it. He neglected to install the receptacle when he rewired the rest of them earlier this year.

i hope he shows up soon, since i don't really want to skip the farmer's market in scottsville tonight. i might go out and work in the garden, but i feel like crap.

of course, after the stove is hooked up, i'll have to turn on the oven and let the industrial/factory coatings outgas. this means i'll be fleeing for the outdoors. if tom isn't made sick by it, i might just leave.
