note to self
Jun. 18th, 2003 02:17 pmyes, it's a nice, sunny day outside. it's also hot and humid. the mosquitoes can smell you from a mile away.
you, dear, are already nauseated from the ear infection and draining mucus. furthermore, the prednisone and keflex are working their insidious magic on your system. you feel like shit. so why, pray tell, did you think you could even *attempt* to work in the garden?
sit down in the cool air conditioned house and drink your cola. your stomach might settle, it might not.
when the heat of the day passes, you can go outside with boy and finish clearing the plot. it's not too late to plant radishes, after all, it stays warm here a bit longer than it does in Indiana. don't forget to oil your skin first. it's a good thing you don't use latex, considering how much oil you've been applying to yourself lately.
when you feel a little better, why don't you head down to the nursery on avon ext and see if they have any ladybugs? that might be nice. and don't forget to ask the neighbors if they have a mallet or sledgehammer so you can pound that rebar into the ground for your tomato supports.
meanwhile, ask that crazy boy of yours to post something about this "mythical white bug" that has him enchanted. he seems quite enamored of it.
