rootofnewtdespite the lack of sunny days, i realized i'm getting a tan. i just noticed the difference between the skin on my arm and the skin on my belly. since i don't have the UV sensitivity these days, i don't always make sure to wear sunblock. i forgot just *how* quickly my skin will tan. i love my freckles and they're back, too.
i've been going sleeveless when i work in the garden in an attempt to clear up the KP on my arms. sunlight has always done the trick, which was a bitch during the photoallergy years. i also look far less sallow when i have some sun. i don't need a deep dark tan or anything, but if i don't start wearing sunblock, i'll have one before i know it.
i'm still paler than many people, just by virtue of not being awake during the day and wearing lots of long-sleeved dark clothing... but wow. i'd kinda forgotten summer was here.
