Jun. 2nd, 2003 02:47 pmYesterday we saw a bear! I forgot to write about it. We were driving along when suddenly it lumbered out of the brush and across the road right in front of us (about a stone's throw away) and off into the brush on the other side of the road. Wow!
We also saw a lovely specimen of Smooth Solomon's Seal. Boy quite liked the plant.
Our cable connection has been up and down today. It's driving me nuts, since I don't feel well enough to go out and garden. Maybe I'll manage to lug myself out there. Maybe when boy gets back from the gym he can open the shed and carry me tools over to the spot I need to work on, then I can just sit and work.
the connection just went down for 10 minutes, so i left the laptop and managed to put on boxers and cargo pants, took off my tank top, added a bra, re-donned the tank, then put on my contacts and applied the deo stone. i then managed to hang up my wet laundry (mostly tights, so not too strenuous). the question is, is that all my spare energy for the day? or will i still be able to garden? *sigh*
i hate the way these diseases have stolen my body. they've stolen my mind, too, but there are healthy stupid people capable of physical labor, i could probably learn to deal if i still had a body that didn't crap out of me.
