so... boy is in bed. alex is either sleeping or reading, but she's in bed, too. i did the dishes (they were annoying me). i watered the plants. and i started a load of towels (medium load, just a few that were hanging around). i also hung up all my clothing that was on the bed, with boy's help while boy watched and attempted to zip the legs onto my cargo pants.

i got up at 3pm, so i'm not that tired yet. well, i'm tired, but i'm not sufficiently sleepy to sleep. i didn't have much caffeine today, though, so i should be able to take some melatonin and lie down in the next hour.

tomorrow we leave for NC and the blackbeard festival. Yay! this will be amusing--two achy girls scheming on ways to get one of the girls a cute pirate boy. alex says that if i make her sick, she's going to trade me in for a peg-leg dog. i hope she's kidding.

my cough hasn't gone away. it's still around and productive, but nothing's infected... yet.

my period has slackened a bit, which is good. crampiness and heavy bleeding are never fun travel companions.

my hands smell like bleach. my brita water bottle lived in the trunk for a month and felt slightly slimy when i opened it, though there was no visible mold or mildew. so i tossed the filter and bleached/soaped the entire thing. bleach in small amounts won't hurt me, it's just so smelly.

and explodingcat, i think that our stuffed... uh... thing collection needs new addition. blame mactavish.

salt water gargle? peppermint tea? cranberry juice? something with lots o' garlic? (or any of those as you are not allergic to?)

cramps, bleeding, general ickiness, I'm there with you, weeeee. I slept 12 hours last night and really still feel like hell, *yay*. Have fun in NC, woot. *wave* to me from the highway, of course I'm not sure which way you're going/gone but if you go by 29 South, I'm right off it when you pass Tightsqueeze. Heh. Tightsqueeze.
