explodingcat walks into the room, the manatee pillow wrapped in a dark green vellux blanket.

me: you're taking a blanket to class?
boy: yes, i've found that it's better to sit on the manatee on top of the blanket. it keeps my feet from crushing themselves into the floor. i've noticed other people at class doing it.
me: nods
boy: plus, right now, it looks like a giant manatee maki roll *bites the manatee*
me: *giggles insanely*

earlier, he walked into the kitchen as i was making pepper spray for my broccoli raab.
me: I'm making pepper spray!
boy: so you can spray me when i get unruly?
me: uh, yeah!
boy: yay! i like it!
me: you're so weird. i love you.
