Apr. 24th, 2003 02:08 pmi've mucked about in the garden a little. i want to do more, but i haven't worked up the motivation to change out of the pajama pants i lounge around the house in, nor have i put in my contacts.
maybe i should call Chris and see if she'd like to go to lowe's with me. i need to look for furnace filters.
our foam bed topper arrived today. it's outgassing in the guest room. unwrapping it gave me a headache. i hope the damn thing outgasses quickly.
there was a cat fight in our yard earlier today. boy told me about it. when i awoke, there were a couple piles of fur. most of the fur is now gone, stolen by sparrows who are making nests.
pollen counts soared again. now it's the oak, sweetgum, and birch. at least the maple, elm (?), and beech (i think) have calmed down. but, dammit, why do i have to be allergic to ALL of the wind-pollinated trees, grasses, flowers, etc? hell, i'm allergic to some of the insect-pollinated stuff, too.
i went to bed at 11:30 last night. woke up at 9:30 this morning and rolled over to stretch so i could climb out of bed. the next time i looked at the clock, it was after 11:30. i know i'm just recovering from the trip to DC and running around and the general move, but dammit... it takes so long.
xiane, i need to make or buy tomato cages soon. are you up for making some with me?

Date: 2003-04-24 06:54 pm (UTC)i know several fibromites who've had luck with the cuddle ewe bed topper, but it's made from wool and that would be *very bad* for me. ;)
i'll let you know how this one works out.

Date: 2003-04-24 02:41 pm (UTC)Have you all seen the pressure point foam toppers for beds. I got one hoping it would ease the pain some and it does help. It doesn't have the egg crate look. It has these deep grooves cut in it...some going this way, some that way...and is supposed to change all of the body so that you don't lay the same. I got one and it really does help.
