there *are* plus-size distributors. in fact, i might start wearing those so that i have more leg length. I may be short, but my legs are really long and i end up getting crotch rips all the time because of it.
anywhere i can find them... sometimes i find them in hair shops... hot topic, walmart and cvs around halloween (though those are lower quality). the main brand i find is leg avenue. angryyoungandpoor.com might have 'em, too, but i haven't checked.
bought 'em at torrid. they're the anarchy line, which i was told is an off-label line produced by doc marten. they're very well constructed. they don't fit me perfectly (shoes never do), but they fit damn well after I applied heel cushions (they go behind the heel, on the shoe upper) and triad orthotics (which i need, anyhow).
