rootofnewtI drove down to see bernie today. I left around 3:30. It took two hours.
After I got there, we had to get Devin (he's four) dressed and get the dogs put into their room and go pick up boy at the metro. We grabbed him and then went to Potomac Mills for fine food court dining and a bit o'shopping.
We wandered down toward Corning-Revere, as I needed a teakettle to replace the two a certain someone broke. We scored the teakettle, a cooling rack, and some jars to replace the one I broke earlier this week. On the way back, the Sanrio store sucked me into its evil vortex of Badtz Maru sale goodies. I walked away with a PVC wallet, two keychains (one long for the neck, the other short for the wrist, black pvc), and car decals. These are last year's Badtz Maru (this year, really) products. *swoon*
After leaving Potomac Mills, we drove over to the new Ikea. It's huge. I picked up some wallpaper, two 2002 catalogs, and some other stuff. ikea joy.

rav3n knocked on the door. He's here for a few days. He watched me clean the kitchen, download email, and clean the guest room. Now he's watching "Windowlicker". I hope it hasn't scared him too badly.
