went into town today to look at a place. it didn't click. of course, i was amused by the realtor. i'm accustomed to seeing older men or women when i look at houses/apartments. i dress fairly sedately (no stripey tights, no big ponytails, not all black). i don't wear beige or anything--don't want to misrepresent myself, but i don't look scary or wear band teeshirts...
this realtor had multiple facial piercings.

did some shopping... finally hit the asian market, the indian quickie mart, and the sex shop. got rice noodles, soba, roti, and explored Ultimate Bliss. we also tried to go to the eye doctor, but she had just left for the day.
went to Bashir's for dinner, where we had tapas. YUM. very good food. i had veggie food, boy had meat... he ate wee little SQUID. i just stared at him.
got groceries for the week at whole foods... gonna mke kale-bean soup. YUM.
came home and saw that my canisters were dry, so i filled them with kasha, split peas, popcorn, and spelt flour... refilled the sugar container... and put some towels in the wash.
i'm so tired. wore myself out.

Date: 2003-02-01 02:24 pm (UTC)Did you see that there's a house for rent on Park St near 250 and another one on 2nd St near where I live? Don't know what the rent is at either location, but (especially the latter) the location is great for doing Stuff around town.
Finally got around to making my bean batter for patties.
