Well, I woke up around 4:45 this afternoon. Slept nearly 11 hours. I really want to get back on a diurnal schedule, though. I really do have less pain when I'm diurnal, rather than nocturnal. I'm *happier* being nocturnal, but I think I'd rather be a little mellower and with a little less pain.

i made myself a sandwich--baguette section, halved, with tomato, balsamic vinaigrette (heavy on balsamic), mozzarella (fresh, oil-packed with herbs), basil, some mesclun... YUM! boy put a hamburger on his and enjoyed it.

Anyhow, I need to take a shower. I can't seem to get a decent shower schedule. In the winter, I shower every other day, which helps keep my skin and hair from getting overly dry. I don't keep strictly to this schedule. Sometimes I shower two days in a row or go more than a day without showering. I'm mostly homebound, so as long as I don't get too icky, it's all good.

On Saturdays, though, I always seem to land on a shower day. This is a problem. I like to shower before going to the club, anyway, because if I want to do *anything* with my hair, it needs to be wet and clean when I start. Otherwise, I can't do anything with it. Well, after the club, I *must* shower to get all the smoke off of me, otherwise I wake up really sick.

So I end up showering twice in about 12 hours. On Sunday and Monday, my skin is red, raw, and screaming at me. *sigh*

Anyhow, tonight's Terminal Ready. YAY! WOOHOO!

Much drunken revelling and TR worship is in order. I'll shower and figure out what to wear. I think TR commands cleavage, so perhaps the corset is in order. Hrm... maybe colorful hair, too. Or maybe my own hair in pigtails.

oh! boy cleaned the bathroom before i woke up. he didn't scrub things, but he cleaned up the scattered newspapers, ladybug wings, hairballs, etc. it looks so much better! woohoo!

update on the car--the brakes are fine. they looked them all over, tested them, everything. nothing. they must've been damp or dusty. [livejournal.com profile] xiane heard them, so i know i wasn't hearing things.

there *was* a leak in the transmission lines. so, that's all fixed and such. the bill was less than $100, thankfully. they did *not* suggest changing the transmission fluid, so i didn't have it done. i was planning on doing that (factory guidelines), but i trust this garage and the mechanics. they take good care of me. since the repair cost about what having the fluid/filter changed and we had the money budgeted for the change, our budget isn't screwed. :) yay!

now, i need to fold some undies, dry some towels, and wash the sheets. maybe i'll wake up uncongested on sunday.

woohoo!
