had a good NYE. i was exhausted, but i went anyhow. it was good to see all the usual folks, though i missed, [livejournal.com profile] twilight_spirit. (it's okay, tim, i know you had stuff to do at home.)

crashed at fil and jonah's. i like spending time with those guys. then we had lunch with jonah on wednesday and came home. we did walk from the apartment to tenley in the misty foggy drizzle. that was most excellent, but now boy is longing to live in DC again. boy drove home, as i was tired. he's such a good boy.

we stopped at walmart for wiper blades and magnets (michael's has been sold out for two weeks on the magnets, so i broke down and went to walmart) and thistleseed (it's half the price the *chain* grocery stores charge).

we have a moat again. the sump pump has been running nearly non-stop. i hope it keeps raining. we need replenished groundwater in virginia if we want to avoid massive water restrictions next summer.

boy took the trash out. i woke up at 1:30pm and i'm just too tired to move. slept nearly 12 hours. i should probably eat something.

Are you using lazer or ink jet? I have an ink jet and I was afraid the ink would run from the glue.

I have made TONS of magnets. I even made a magnet from a pic of Meatloaf's face. Hmm.

Today in the freebie bin at the used bookstore I found two Ladies Home Journal mags from 1970. More fodder for magnets!

I should re-add [livejournal.com profile] craftgrrl. There was drama right before the holidays that made me delete it from my friends list.

laser. and silicone sealer. i think some folks in the community mentioned using inkjet, though. try it. :)
