we left my in-laws around 3:45. got lost driving around burlington county, getting to trader joe's without making a u-turn. ;)
left the county around 4:30. saw the traffic on i-95 in delaware and bailed for US 40. hopped back up toward 95 before crossing the susquehanna, saw it and kept moving. hit US 1, ran south for a bit, ate at white marsh taco bell... hopped on i-95 (which was crowded)... got to the split at DC and saw the signboard message warning folks away from the westbound lanes. there was major congestion and an accident on i-495 west, so went east, hopped on the bw parkway, drove past the stadium and down constitution to i-66, and had smooth sailing there on out.
got home at 11:30.
i'm tired.
really tired.
will put pillowcases in the dryer, take a shower, and go to bed. johnny depp is on bravo: inside the actor's studio. sheets seem free of mouse turds. house is remarkably low on mouse turds. guess they got hungry and left.
i can hope.
turned up the thermostat. good idea.
need to put food away. must sit for now.
