i should be packing.
it's hard to pack when i don't know what i want to wear for the road trip tomorrow.
common sense dictates jeans, thick socks, sneakers, long-sleeve t-shirt, and a knit cap over two braids.
fashion sense dictates plasticized nylon skirt, red and black fishnets (two pair) over black tights, ankle boots, long-sleeve t-shirt, and hair pulled back with my new googly-eyed barrettes.
i suppose either is practical, when i think about it, but the first outfit will make me look about 12 (with boobs and laugh lines) since the jeans are relaxed-fit men's wrangler's. i don't really give a damn what other people see, it's what *i* see when i look in the mirror tomorrow.
packing is also difficult when my crinoline, lace over-dress, and lace dress are all hanging up to dry. mustn't pack wet clothing. i almost saved it all to wash back in maryland, but it's my favorite outfit and i don't like wadding my crinoline up, which i'd have needed to do as the clothing was cat-aminated earlier today at
ismene's place. Rumor is purtiful, insane, and delightfully abstract--just like her human partner.
it's hard to pack when it would be so much easier to heap everything in the trunk, but i must be organized for once. not sure why. maybe i'm getting sick.
it's hard to pack when i'm using the items i need to stow away... *cough*computer*cough
i was good, though. i took a shower tonight. that means i don't have to waste time doing it in the morning.
of course, it would make more sense to do it then since it would help me wake up... but i needed to de-cat-aminate myself.
allergies suck.
anyhow, i'm sad to be leaving indiana again... i haven't seen everyone i wanted to see... i didn't make it to winding way to buy my conditioner, so i'll need to make an online purchase from NEEDS this week. i'd love to stay longer, but i miss my boy. he's probably getting all cranky and bachelor-like without me. eating ice cream for breakfast and tater tots for dinner.
mmmm.
ice cream.
