[livejournal.com profile] explodingcat has taken to talking to moths.

He followed a small black one around the kitchen today, keening "EEEEEeeeEEE!". He said hello to a small fluttery brown moth while we were eating.

It doesn't stop at moths. He talks to oddly shaped beetles, too. And he was disappointed when I couldn't round up one of the vampire ladybugs who live in the bathroom. He wanted to "commune", he said.

He spent all summer feeding grasshoppers and poking Peck's skippers. He photographed the funky red and black beetle and ran screaming from cicadas.

I'm kinda worried about him. I mean, I could understand talking at the cows.

Maybe he needs more human interaction.

Are these insects listening to him?

They will. I plan to train them for my insect army.

When they are trained, please send a detachment to our closet to help us clear out some space from our old clothes.

How else would I feed my army? If I run out of closets to which they are invited, I'll have to start raiding vintage clothing stores and salvation army shops.
