aye, that's one reason i wouldn't actually *use* such a method, but in countries where contraception isn't easily available, it might be an *option*.
that said, lemon burns my skin when the juice isn't diluted. it burns my mucous membranes even worse (literal chemical burns). i don't handle lemons and neither does my cootchie.
