Oy oy oy, cleaning.
Apr. 18th, 2009 02:23 pmMy kitchen floor is clean. The Spot Bot is at work on creepy, unknown stains (likely from raisins).
I hate the carpet in our front room. Light beige may make a room look bigger, but it also makes a room looks nasty. I prefer hardwood, which is what we have in most of our house--you can see the dirt, know it's there. The beige carpet looks dirty when it's clean, but you also know that it's never really clean, because the hardwoods show dust and debris all the time. If this room has to have carpet, I want dark carpet. I'll know it's dirty, but it won't be obvious. Maybe a nice, mottled green.
Anyhow . . . someday, I'll have darker carpet. Or I'll replace this with the same color when we sell the house. :p
I should vacuum this ugly ass carpet now. Not that it'll make a difference, but I'll stop stepping on dried rice from yesterday. Ew.
I miss having a dog-vacuum. Floor gets so nasty so quick. I'm vacuuming every other day, it seems. And no martinis or valium. I guess I have to get with it and start wearing housedresses with aprons.
