I wasn't sure whether the main streets were icy today. I did watch someone have issues getting up our hill, so I decided it was the bus for us. (Rear wheel drive tank + hills and curves make an Indiana girl slightly nervous.) It wasn't too slippery to walk, though, and my trusty hiking shoes were just fine.
Ronan was quite excited. We took the 4a downtown, where it transformed miraculously into the 4b. Disembarked near the Corner. Found coffee, ran around the coffeeshop and annoyed fourth years, then went back to wait for the bus. We had a nearly ten minute wait, so we went into Studio Art and bought a few Shleich animals. Caught the 7 bus downtown, visited the Discovery Museum, then jumped back onto the 4a and came home.
It was fun, but I should've taken time to grab the Deuter pack and my hiking poles. Ronan didn't like walking on the crunchy ice/slush/snow and I had to carry him. So I either need to take the Deuter next time or finally alter my spare coat into a babywearing coat and use it with the Ergo.
