I've seen the space beneath the fridge. It's scary. *shudders*
I also harvested the basil since the projected overnight low is 30F, which means a pretty decent freeze. I anticipate far fewer mosquitoes this week. YAY!
I need to go harvest the purple basil soon, too. We'll use that for dinner, along with the parsley. I harvested some of the tricolor sage, but not all of it. It's somewhat hardy, though the leaves are not frostproof. Since I'm nursing, I can't eat tons of sage, nor drink sage tea. So I'll just dry a small amount.
I don't know anyone who uses pineapple sage, which is a shame, because it's all going to die tonight. And I have a ton of it--leaves & flowers alike.
Will make pesto later. Yum.
