Ronan slept in until 11am today. o_O I'm not really complaining, though it means we've had no nap downtime, which is something I do rely on. He did have a rough night--almost non-stop nursing, with outright crying anytime I tried to remove it so I could roll onto my back. Well, it seemed like non-stop. Everytime I awoke, I was either still nursing or trying to help him relatch.

Co-sleeping rocks on nights like that.

We've visited the park, Whole Foods, and a birthday party. He partied hard on our deck when we came home and will soon get to jump in the tub and turn the water orange with clay. First, however, I'm going to try to sneak some greens and a hot dog down his gullet.

He loves looking at Jericho's pic here in my userpic. :)

I weedwhacked the front fence for several minutes before the battery died. It's a new one and the documentation claims it will "break in" and last longer in time. The online reviews concur, so I hope that's the case

I had a hysterical screaming fit earlier today over a ginormous spider on our front door. It wouldn't LEAVE. Turns out it had just laid a godawful nest. Tom hosed it all away. It was big. I saw it eyes to eye as I bent over to retrieve the bolt Ronan had pulled out of our door spring (he does that a lot). It was right behind the spring, right next to my face.

I screamed. I feel bad for scaring Ronan, but my arachnophobia still lurks and pops up at inopportune times.

By the way, even Tom agrees that it was huge for a spider. And it wasn't hairy, so I have no freakin' clue what it was. *shudders*
