It's raining. This isn't really news. Not much wind, but lots and lots of rain.

I went to the farmer's market today. There were fewer than a dozen vendors, but most of the folks we patronize were there. I was able to buy quite a bundle of goods. When the rain stops, we can grill more okra, corn, and squash. Yum. I neglected to buy onions, but onions are tricky to keep when soaking wet.

My parents are still in town. They're out in the campground in Crozet, attempting to coax their wheaten Scottie out to do his business. He's not fond of rain.

Ronan's trying to climb up on the couch. There, now he's happily latched on.

Off he goes again.

Waiting for my parents to show up so we can go walk with Ronan in the mall. I didn't want to take him with me to the market, just in case the wind picked up or a storm cell blew in. I should have taken him, after all. He'd have been happy in the rain-fly bedecked stroller. Oh, well. I would have gotten far wetter if I'd had to wrestle groceries under the rainfly into the stroller basket.
