Still in Indiana.
Jul. 9th, 2008 04:58 pmRonan napped easily and frequently while we were camping. He would just nod off between attractions (Indiana Dunes National Lakeshore is kinda spread out). Since the area is fairly highly developed, we'd stop off for coffee or something while he napped, then drive to see something else and eat a snack from the cooler and read until he would stir.
He'd start nodding off around sunset and then sleep until 7:30 central time. Last night, we drove home and he fell asleep here around 7pm. And slept until 8:30am. Sure, he nursed a couple times in there, but that doesn't really disturb me.
Today, napping is not coming easily. He's soooo tired. And still going strong.
We're about to get in the car to drive to Warsaw to visit the family. I have a feeling he's going to drop off before we're out of the neighborhood. The drive takes awhile, so he'll get a little bit of a nap.
I think we'll head home tomorrow. Probably camp somewhere on the way back. I'm not sure where. We'll have a baby who hates the unfolding of tarps *and* a hyper poodle on hand. Joy.
