Pretty day.
Feb. 9th, 2008 03:53 pmRonan woke up early today. Lucky me--it was
explodingcat's turn to wake up with him, so I slept til 9, which is when Tom brought R back in to nurse. Ronan didn't fall asleep for his nap until 10 of 10, so we weren't able to go to the Mommy & Me water class. Tom went to yoga while R napped and came home right at the end of the long hour and a half naptime.
We walked to the corner for coffee and lunch. Turns out the curry place is still closed on Saturdays. Tom got a deli sandwich. I'm accustomed to not eating a lot while out, so my latté tided (tode? tide?) me over until we got home.
We wandered over to special collections and watched the movie in the Declaration of Indpendence exhibit while R nursed. Set off for home, hoping the urchin would nap. Ronan didn't sleep at all, though, so I nursed him down upon returning. Just over three and a quarter miles. Not bad, but a short walk compared to what I typically do. Tom's tired, though, because he got up early *and* did yoga, so I suppose the shorter walk is fine. I also made him push the stroller on all the uphill stretches. ;)
Tom's in the bedroom now. I'm starting the sauce for dinner . . . doing laundry . . . and drinking a coke. I suppose I should actually eat more than a couple ounces of salmon candy, but I'm really not that hungry.
I haven't been taking tons of Ronan pictures lately. When he sees the camera, all bets are off. He is highly determined to acquire the shiny object and smudge the lens. I have no pictures of him smiling because he wants to eat the camera. *sigh*
