May. 23rd, 2007 05:42 pmMy brother arrives tomorrow. I don't think he actually expects me to clean before he gets here, so the kitchen shall remain dingy. The bathroom will get cleaned, but that's just because it always does. And I'll sweep the room he's staying in--dust bunnies are bad for asthmatics.
Laundry is never ending, but it was like that pre-baby. I'm just actually doing it more often now so that it doesn't pile up. My mom sent a six pack of fuzzi bunz--I should prep those so that I can use them.
My beloved son accomplished a mom-groaning feat of Ugh! today by peeing in his own mouth. That's why babies shouldn't cry during diaper changes. He was rewarded with a bath. He liked the bath, but didn't like getting out. I forgot to pre-warm the towel this time. Doh!
Jericho is staring at boy and I in turn, demanding his dinner. He's convinced we'll forget. Ronan, meanwhile, is sound asleep in his vibrating bed. Soon, he, too, will awaken and demand dinner. He's already had tenses, elevenses, twelveses, etc, today. Growing babies need a constant supply of boob juice. He nursed for over an hour and a half earlier today, merging the twelvses right on up to the twoses.
I should take advantage of sleepy baby time and go sort some more baby clothing into age/size appropriate groups and put them away so that
pace has a place to sleep.
I really wanted to throw a welcome baby party this weekend, but I've just been too tired to pull it together.
