Saturday night . . .
Mar. 17th, 2007 08:14 pmI have
stitchinthyme and
eilonwy to thank for the models in my new userpic. Thank you!
Well, today was going to be massive scouring day, but it took all day to run errands. We dropped off the cardboard and brown paper at the recycling center, turned the dead TV into Crutchfield (10 bucks to recycle a tube tv), waited in line forever at Joann's to buy a quarter flat and a suncatcher, had coffee with Bri, visited Staples to buy dark tshirt transfers, grocery shopping at WFM, canister buying at World Market, black tshirt buying at Michaels . . . ooof!
Then we came home and I had to make boy's tshirt for tonight (had to install print drivers, print mock-ups, wash and dry the tshirt, iron on the transfer, etc.
Boy made dinner--something simple out of the pressure cooker manual. It was chicken with some white wine, parsley, and rosemary. Very simple, but very satisfying over brown rice. Boy also cleaned the kitchen (the non-mouse stuff--just regular dishes, etc).
I've been tidying up random things. I need to go wash and dry the new canisters and then fill them once they're dry. And then I'll clear off the counter shelving in the kitchen and disinfect it. I may also drop tons of mint-oiled cottonballs into mouse-traffic areas.
nannar and I may or may not completely blow off our chores and just go out for warm drinks.
I can't go out to see Terminal Ready tonight. My asthma can barely handle my own house (which is pretty much un-noxious). I can't be anywhere near smoke right now. I know they'll kick ass. They'll probably forget to take names, though.
