A few weeks ago, some flowers came up on the east side of the house. I have no clue what they are. They were obviously planted and are perennial.

Here they are. The picture isn't perfect, but the flowers are a pale blueish white, more bluiesh around the edges of the petals. One flower to a stalk. Leaves are long and thin and come up in a clump/rosette. Flowers followed a week later. They've stayed up for a couple weeks and are just now starting to fade/die.

Any ideas?
Tapestry + restoration + supercomputers = wow. The thought of attempting to digitally combine the data described--the dimensions and twists of the weft and warp, camera lens distortion, slight angle differences . . . Wow.
Remember this? Yes, my nicely covered repair?

Guess what just happened? Screen went *snap*, flickered, froze, went pale, froze again with little black lines, then started going black veeeeerry slowly from the lower right corner, frozen again. I rebooted--no display. I tried to turn it off, but decided I'd just close the book--that will power down anything going to the display, at the very least. I doubt anything is.

GRRRRR. Better still be covered, as we just had this repair done a few months ago.

I will be absent from LJ, email, the great intarweb, etc, for an undetermined amount of time. Tomorrow, I'll borrow boy's computer (I'm on it now, but it's his work machine) to go nomail from everything but the lists I moderate. For the forseeable future, you can contact me by IMing boy or calling me.

You can find me if you want me in the garden.

Because I'm a lazy bum who won't remember to click on an outside link with any seeming regularity, I've created the syndication account here on LJ for it. Thanks for setting up your feed, Jeremy. ;)
