We're not on the road yet. We slept in quite a bit. A long drive yesterday on very little sleep necessitated a long night's rest.
So, now we're putting away the dishes and packing the car. We need to walk down to the store and buy some ice. I also need to kick the proprietor because his coke machine stole my money last night.
We went out to Summit Lake and walked around a bit last night. The security folks are all different, it appears. I wanted to say hi to an old friend, but it appears he finally retired. I peeked in the campground office... it's computerized now!!! Craziness.
In a bit of a dire spot WRT shampoo. Our container apparently leaked quite a bit...So now we only have an ounce or two to last the both of us. I don't know if the co-op in Goshen sells Heritage Products Olive Oil Shampoo, unscented. If they do, I'll be quite happy. I usually buy it in a huge container, but I'll settle for either a two or eight ounce container. Heck, if they only have it in sixteen or 120 oz containers, I'll buy it. It's the only thing we can use.
I need to go poke around in the barn and see if I can find a clothesrod to hang in my car. My mother requested an outfit and we have a few things on hangers ourselves (suit, boy's shirts, my nice outfit)... so now we have too many things to just lay down in the back seat. I already checked the mountaineer--no go.
Driving to Goshen in a little bit. I'll get to see family quite soon (okay, a few hours), which makes me happy, even if the circumstances are sad.
