well, isn't that just spiffy?
Apr. 10th, 2004 02:21 pmI've attempted to stand up for several things today. I've had to sit down quite suddenly when everything went black a few times. I had to retreat back to the couch nearly every time.
Damn dizzy spells. It's not so bad so long as I don't stand up and remain standing. Even having boy support me for a couple minutes wasn't enough for the attack to pass. I've had some green tea (contains some caffeine) and soup (salt salt salt), but nothing is helping. Boy is going to scrub the tub so that I can take a bath, since I certainly can't stand--especially not in a hot shower.
We have stuff to do today. :(
TSC doesn't have scooters or wheelchairs. I might have to go to Lowe's just so I can get around. :/ I'd rather go to TSC.
Plans for today:
buy sand for garden (our soil is a clay loam and could use a bit of sand to improve drainage)
see if Starbucks has some coffee grounds (our soil is very low in nitrogen--*very*)
sulphur or cottonseed meal (need to lower the pH slightly--it's almost perfectly neutral and my tomatoes will be happier if it's more acidic)
get one of those four tined breaking-up-the-soil tools. the push and twist kind, because boy likes tools.
