reading decisions
Nov. 13th, 2003 12:54 amI need to find a bedtime book for the next two nights. I generally read for about half an hour before I turn out the light... We'll be getting the latest Dan Simmons novel on Friday, so I don't want to start the epic novel The Forest, by Rutherfurd... I'm not sure where I put it, anyhow. It's a rather heavy hardback, too, so I should probably save it for Thanksgiving, when I'll do lots of reading while sittiing up.
I'm caught up on all of our F&SF issues. This leaves Chocolat (Joanne Harris. I didn't see the movie) and The World, the Flesh and the Devil (Reay Tannahill).
I'm not sure I'm in the mood for romance or historical fiction or small town life or anything similar. *sigh* The Tannahill books is a normal paperback, but was bought at Daedelus, so I shouldn't really take it into the bedroom. Dust and mold don't make sleep any easier to seek.
OOOOH! I just remembered--boy bought me the horror anthology from the Bending the Landscape series. I think I'll read *that*.
