(no subject)

I'm up, showered, and dressed and the bathroom is clean and tidy. The landlord is supposed to come and re-seal/caulk the tub today, so I will need to be out of the house. I wish I'd remembered to call xiane when I woke up--I could've given her a ride to work today.

I did find some non-wool, non-rabbit over-the-knee socks yesterday. And I know where to buy *striped* ones online. I also decided to try something new. Normally when I double up thin socks, I get blisters. I don't like the look of socks + tights, either. Well, I found some of those no-see sport socks, which are basically thick sock liners. I've got a pair of those on under my tights. If they work, cool. If not, I haven't lost that much money on them. I also bought three pair of OTK stripey boot liners (tights, basically, but over the knee). Most of my tights have been dying (toes, elsewhere), so I haven't replaced them... I've been thinking of switching to OTK socks, anyhow.

There, boring sock talk is kaput.

I need to go to the PO today and then my day is free. I need to be out of the house, though, because the sealant will make me sick. No showers til tomorrow, unless we go to the gym.
