stuff

today, i need to:
hang up the wet laundry from club night
wash the guest sheets and put them away
wash the clothing i wore yesterday, since it smells of stinky detergent and fabric softener
buy some jewel cases
mail a CD to ashbet

that's not too hard. i should eat, too. i'd be eternally grateful if boy did all the dishes, since they got contaminated by meat dredges. i don't do meat dishes. those are his job. there were dishes in the sink and dishes on which meat was eaten/prepared got put in/rinsed over the others.

i've been up for a couple hours or so. i slept nine hours, which was cool. i did that without any sleep aids, too. i woke up once when boy got up, but that was it. i don't feel particularly rested, but i rarely do.

I'll confess. I kind of like the Outkast song "Hey Ya"... the video is hilarious. The song is silly and funky and cool. It gets played on WNRN, which also amuses me.

Boy bought the CD set, which is basically two solo albums--one from each member. Andre 3000's funk/jazz/soul/blues/rock fusion is quite listenable, even for me. I dislike most rap, soul, and hiphop music (even the other Outkast stuff), so that's saying something.

most of the laundry for today has been done. YAY!
i'm eating borscht and pirozhki. yum.
i forgot to buy jewel cases, so i have to go out and do that when boy gets home. i shall offer to take the chris, if she's feeling up to it. i know she needs to go to walmart, which will work just fine for me.

i was at kroger buying saline and cheese. the person monitoring the (four) scan-your-own lanes closed them off, which left three open lanes at 4:30pm or so... each with 5+ people in them with full carts and *no* express lanes. i left my stuff on the customer service desk (also unstaffed) because i was too damn tired and achy to wait in those lines. the kroger at hydraulic has pulled stunts like this before and it's really getting old.

it's warm.
