maybe i'll shower first... though it *is* pouring, maybe not.
nah, i should. just to make sure i don't reek of last night's drinking festivities

car's issue? water pump. honestly, we thought this needed to go LAST year, but they said no. so this should clear up any last worries about it. i though we *did* replace it, but i can't find any bills indicating such. my memory's not so hot and boy says we didn't. i think it runs on the same belt as the stuff we replaced last year, which is why i assumed it would go sooner or later. i assume they'll get it done today since they called at 10.

woke up at 6:30 today because of sinus pain... it took awhile for the naproxen to kick in, but i eventually fell back asleep and slept til the mechanics called.

oof. tired.

had a good morning. met up with minnaleigh, Trina, and red_frog at Higher Grounds, then spent the morning leisurely browsing various stores. i picked up a book for my parents, a Somtow book for myself, and a new fan (mine are all broken).

i had ice cream, too. YUM.

we walked home... still haven't heard from the garage. i hope they call soon, as i'd like to be able to not bug my friends too much when i beg for a ride down there. i think i'm too tired to walk downtown again to catch the bus.

have the dawning tonight... need groceries, too, but need car first.

i'm hungry, but there are dishes to be done before i can eat. i think i'll just rest, instead.

ugh. headachy.

nothingoth was kind enough to deliver us to our car. we paid for the car and then headed for whole foods. fortunately, i remembered that i need loratidine and appliance bulbs, so we hit walmart, which was unfortunately out of generic loratidine (so i bought generic loratidine-d, which is expensive, but only five days' worth). headed to taco bell because boy was feeling woozy and needed food. the taco bell on 29N often has stale taco shells. bleagh.

got groceries at whole foods. jewish apple cake is on sale, but we're low on cash (damn car), so i had to forgo it. that's okay. i don't need it, i just like it.

at home now... the drains are still stopped up. *sigh*

the bathroom sink and the kitchen sink are back to back, separated by a wall. they seem to have a common drain, as the bathroom sink will bubble and gurgle when the garbage disposal is on. well today... they're both backed up... the garbage disposal is empty, but there must be something in the pipe. boy put some drano gel down earlier, but it's not done enough, as running water down still fills up again. it's a very S-L-O-W drain. i should've bought some enzymatic drain stuff at whole foods, but forgot... they close soon. *sigh*

on the other hand, i now have a neubauten CD none of my local friends possess, to my knowlege. NYAH!

i'm trying to decide what to wear tonight. right now, i'm wearing purple/black stripeys, 20i docs, a net and ribbon skirt, and... pigtails. oh, i have rings and a necklace on, too. i think i want to wear big hair tonight... so i need to decide on an outfit and color.

i have a headache... best not wear the burple falls--they're heavy.
