It's BEAUTIFUL outside. Boy just called me out (he's mowing) to see a praying mantis on my tomato plants. i got a couple of mosquito bites, but YAY! I have a mantid!

yesterday, he did some yardwork for half an hour and came inside looking like he'd been beaten up... that's how bad the skeeters are.

he wants to go to the mountains. i think the car's okay (no CD player *SIGH*), so maybe we will. i really need to get started on that dress, but... it's so NICE out. and everything i'm horribly allergic to is pollinating! yay!

i think i'll put in my eyedrops, get dressed, put in my contacts, then run to IY for a couple things. boy has most of the front/back yards to mow and then he'll need to shower. i have time. :)

Adelphia is having email issues. (Yes, I checked their online network status.) No relaying is going through and I can't even access adelphia webmail (though, to be fair, I rarely use it, so I'm not sure if I had the right addy). They're working to resolve the problem.

Anyhow, boy is not working on the front yard and I'm not dressed or be-lensed. Ah, well.

I'm getting a headache from the smell of the green stuff he's cutting.

We went to the Blue Ridge today. pics to follow later.

I dropped boy off at SpookyHaus/das BierschloІ for band practice. I told him I was going out for pizza and would eventually return, perhaps after going elsewhere, too. I had pizza and came home.

The drive home involved a lot of itching--not quite hives. It turns out the artificial flavoring in fruit-flavored certs (i had three of them) now contains soy lecithin. This angers me. I know it was a minute amount, but I was itching and it *could* be the culprit behind my sudden belly troubles. At least it wasn't more severe. Had I had more than, say, a few mg of soy lecithin, I'd be in uncomfortable trouble.

So... I'm at home. I've switched over the laundry and am contemplating starting another load. I need to find my good sewing scissors. if I can manage to find them, I'll take my pattern over to the BierschloІ and sit in the noisy space.

i have a headache. blah.
