Farmer's market.. many yummies bought. i should go have some more olive bread.

Chicago was great. I'm glad I finally got to see it. :)

[livejournal.com profile] red_frog and I wandered afterwards, then I called [livejournal.com profile] explodingcat to ask him to join us at Twisted Branch tea room. We sat in back, drank rooibos, and chatted. Eventually, my yawning overcame us all and we all headed our two different directions. Tom and I walked back to the car (I meant to offer you a ride, Magi) and came home.

Soon, I'll go to bed. I've been awake just over 14 hours, which is a lot for me.
lately, my minidish signal has pixelated and died whenever a rainstorm rolls through. this is not happy-making.

on the other hand, i hope [livejournal.com profile] xiane is happy--she shouldn't have to water her garden (and feed the mosquitoes) tomorrow!
Today I'd like to go to the Asian market for veggies, buy croutons at Whole Foods, check IY for seitan, and do the darn garage sale stuff. Rain is called for tomorrow morning, which will tick me off if I actually get up at the buttcrack of dawn.

So... who wants to go to the market(s) with me? Does anyone love me enough to give me company while I label garage sale goodies? I don't need help, just company. You, my dear friend(s) (oh, dare I hope for more than one?) can do your nails or chitchat or even eat our food. ;)
[livejournal.com profile] explodingcat: I'm glad I like bugs. There are so many. There's 900,000 classified bugs and thousands that aren't classified yet. I could probably see a new bug every day for the rest of my life if I was paying attention."

In other news... garage sale stuff all priced. It's cheap... I wonder if the CDs are too cheap. I have no clue what a used CD place would give me for them (used CDs sell for 6-10 bucks around here... ours are labelled $3 right now).

We're going to go put some stuff in the garage and possi bly carry out a table for the porch. And maybe stick a couple signs up, then we'll run home and jump in bed.

Tomorrow comes early. *sigh*
To [livejournal.com profile] forestwalker: I hope your birthday was wonderful. The stress test you linked to awhile back has been the bane of my husband's existence. I keep talking about adorable dolphins, but he keeps seeing a cow... how odd.

[livejournal.com profile] lyrical1: I know you've been busy lately, but I hope you had a nice birthday with some time for yourself. :)

[livejournal.com profile] ozzi_dawg: Woof! Happy un-Birthday! Yay! Go tell that lady who shares your home to give you something yummy! Maybe she knows a secret trick for catching squirrels! How does your tail taste? Woof! Wow, you have your very own carpet steamer now! Yay!
