i didn't get any gardening done today. my belly is still blah. blah belly + heat + sunlight + mosquitoes = blaher jos

no flyering wed night, either.

i should go to bed.

did manage to see Iridum 25 flare through the trees tonight. pretty bright, too... (-7)

Dear slugmuffin,
I'm so very sorry, but the gigantic moderately-sized long-legged jumping monster of d00m cricket that lives under the couch has not been removed. I attempted to catch it, despite it's spidery appearance, but it kept jumping, trying to bite my nose, no doubt. So I left it. And now, I'm going to bed, three hours later than I intended, out of shame for not being able to catch a simple insect.

one of my neighbors is a principal for an elementary school in loudon county. she's only home on the weekends.

she's very nice. she's always seemed sane.

a trugreen/chemlawn truck just pulled up.

i have multiple chemical sensitivities. trugreen chemicals make me SICK SICK SICK.

it's not a windy day, but i have a vegetable garden along the fencerow i share with this neighbor. i talked to the guy. he can't not spray, since he's contracted to do it. he promised to stay far away from the fence.

i'll talk to her when i see her. if this is going to be monthly/weekly, it will be trouble. i'm growing my tomatoes so i can EAT THEM.

it's not like her garden is picture perfect--she has a lovely wildflower garden (she maintains it), along with garden flowers. and her yard isn't the fake-green of chemical lawn company stuff, so i don't think it's long standing. she has a NICE natural lawn.

i hope i can talk her out of this.

I have a picture in my directories of mbickers at originalcynic's party... it was called boobs.jpg, because her cleavage is about to pop free.

this picture gets more hits than any other--mostly from google searches for things like "parent directory boobs.jpg" and other sundry things. the hit is buried from two to 10 pages deep each time. in addition, someone with a static IP does this search nearly every day and looks at it.

zie is going to have a surprise the next time.

i also uploaded a few more deviously labeled pictures...and gave them their own directory. i anticipate much amusing log viewing
