I'm really not sure how I feel about the monetary "compensation" going on post 9/11, but I'm glad that someone in a non-standard relationship was treated as though she as had her spouse. She *did* lose her spouse.

I'm starting to use yahoo messenger. For whatever reasons, ICQ (any version) crashes my machine if an incoming message comes in while i'm opening or closing a window in another application. Yes, weird.

Anyhow, I'm not running OSX, so I can't use Fire or Proteus.

Some friends expressed a wish to chat with me. If you use Yahoo messenger (or Trillian, or whatver), the userid I'm using is zvvitterion (my other IDs are rootofnewt and rootofnowt, but i'm not using them).
