sometimes i wonder if mass beachings of whales is really a form of political/environmental/social protest.
i used to stare at people and tell them "the dolphin gods are not pleased" when they did something that just wasn't nice or safe for the environment/world (like littering, burning christmas paper, or voting republican). they never understood and would look at me strangely.
