that link only expresses a small fraction of the artists' works i immersed myself in that year. i was especially interested in female artists of the soviet avant garde--exter, popova, etc. i studied the male artists, too, but i felt drawn to the women.
i'm still interested in the movement and the various forms it took, the political repercussions, etc. i loved sitting in the architecture library at ball state, staring at slides of constructivist art for hours. i miss hiding in a back stairwell of the main library, poring over texts. it was a good way to forget the pain and stress of growing up.

our local phone bill is outrageous.
our monthly taxes *exceed* the individual bills for either phone line.
our regular charges:
13.78 line 1
13.78 line 2
3.10 other charges (911 and relay)
that's all fine and dandy. it's the taxes section. i've NEVER paid this much for taxes.
11.02 Interstate access surcharge
1.00 federal universal service fund
.96 number portability charge
1.20 public rights-of-way use
1.22 federal tax
4.00 consumer utility tax
sheesh. you know, i disliked verizon, but we never paid this much in taxes that are supposedly universal. that was in maryland, of course.
but 19.40 in taxes and surcharges? crazy.
