sometimes, i find odd things on usenet...

i vaguely remember boy asking me this question. he's been horribly damaged by le petit prince, i'm afraid.

and... from just a couple weeks into my now chronic illness...

a lullaby from a net.friend i really should look up again. i need to send him a copy of the recording boy made of it, if i can find the recording.

there are other lullabies in the thread. and amusing silliness, but only jim mentioned harpies.

organic gardening in chicago

this is a neat story. i think i need to find out more--how the city is aiding the individuals, whether they will farm year-round in these raised beds (with greenhouse-type additions), if they're breaking even... this is important stuff. :)

and it all started because someone's kid had food allergies, though that's not immediately evident.
