Jul. 24th, 2002 11:09 amit seems that everyone is getting rain but me.
last night on irc, it seemed that every other line was "ooh, it's raining," "dammit, it's raining again," "it's the apocalypse!"...
and then i hear that charlottesville, just 14 mi NW of me, got 1.5 inches. GRRRR!
we get the thunder, lightning, and two or three raindrops, while folks just a few miles away get inundated.
our water pressure was great yesterday morning (the mountains must've gotten some rain last week), but pitiful by mid-afternoon (evidently, they didn't get much that soaked in).
