i just saw an interesting music video on MMUSA.

kidneythieves "zerospace"

the lead vocalist spent most of the video with her upper half pixelated. caught my eye (i was already listening)...

as for the music... i like it. her voice is nice, the closet description i can think of would involve putting alanis morrisette and pj harvey into a blender. the music is a fairly harsh rock, also nice.

must keep an eye out for this. ovenfresh (half hour new music segment) should be on again tomorrow.

most of my life, strangers have expressed interest or disbelief when presented with my given name. it's never been a big deal for me as it's not exceptionally common in english-speaking countries in this day and age.

i do wonder, however, at the apparent lack of curiousity expressed by my fellow goths and pagans. i find myself wondering if they are so accustomed to affectation that they'd act just as non-plussed if i gave my name as Lady Ravenbutt.
