insomnia. UCK.

yeah, i went to bed around midnight (nose got trapped in a book)... fell asleep around 1:30, i think. the last time i looked at the clock was 1:15.

i remember turning when boy came to give me my medicine... well, i was asleep when i turned, but quickly came half-awake screaming. now, screaming in my sleep is normal. but screaming from pain is not. ooof. boy gave me my medicine, stroked my hair until i stopped crying (i really wasn't completely awake), and all was well until i woke up around 9:30. i looked at the clock, hmphed, and went to sleep for another hour or so.

now i'm feeling particularly well-rested. i called and scheduled my chest CT as soon as i awoke. talked to boy about a shopping list, decided to stay home tonight (sorry, Virginia and Neale, i know y'all have celebrations tonight, but home i will stay).

i'm going to take the car in for its emissions inspection. i think my inspiration volume and ability is now sufficient to wear my filter mask so that i don't get sick from the exhaust like last time.

i'm also feeling well, if quite achy. i still wince when i move, but i *must* get some stuff done. i'll try to hit the evil empire for some razor cartridges, a brita filter, and paper towels, but i'll leave without anything if the vroom vroom carts aren't functional. i'm just not up to walking around a huge store.

and i'm going to go to the container store for a couple things. it's a small store, i should be able to handle that.

i told boy i'd give up and come home if i got too tired. duh. that's standard protocol for a PWC. ;)

i think i might pick up some material for some tube tops, too. wonder if boy already threw away my weekly Joanne's flyer... i could use the coupon. ah, well, G-Street is having a big sale, too. and i only really need a yard to make some tops.
